The first step is to get a copy of the standard and determine if it applies to you. If it does apply to you, list every hazardous chemical being used or stored in your laboratory. Collect the appropriate Safety Data Sheets (SDS) / Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on the chemicals.
