There are two types of air sampling.
- Airborne Particle Count Test is a sampling and classification of the rooms air cleanliness according to ISO 14644-1 standards. A minimum number of sampling point locations is determined by the square meters of the space. Sample locations are then evenly distributed throughout the area for samples to be taken at working height. Once all samples have been taken classification is determined by the particle concentrations measured at each of the locations. A report is created to help the customer understand all of the data that was collected.
- Viable Microbial Air Sampling is an evaluation of airborne microorganisms by collecting samples onto growth media and sending them to an accredited lab for growth and identification of colony-forming units (cfu’s). Great care is taken in this process to maintain control of our samples and prevent contamination at any stage. Once samples have been collected and identification has been received from the lab a report is created to help the customer understand all of the data that was collected.
